Welcome to a Website and Blog dedicated to the Carl Frederick Blase family
On this website I talk about family memories and tell stories from my early childhood which took place in the 1950's while I was being raised by my grandparents whose family came to America from Germany in 1881.
I've also created a section on how I setup my family tree, the history and geography of Springfield, Alton and other small towns in Illinois back in the day.
